DAY OF SHOW SCHEDULE

Here’s our standard schedule for Sunday – Thursday:

Three-Band Bill
Load in: 6:00 pm
Doors: 7:30 pm
Opener: 8:00 pm
Support: 9:00 pm
Headliner: 10:00 pm

Four-Band Bill
Load in: 6:00 pm
Doors: 7:30 pm
Opener: 8:00 pm
Support: 8:45 pm
Support: 9:30 pm
Headliner: 10:15 pm

Here’s our standard schedule for Friday/Saturday shows:

Three-Band Bill
Load in: 7:00 pm
Doors: 8:30 pm
Opener: 9:00 pm
Support: 10:00 pm
Headliner: 11:00 pm

Four-Band Bill
Load in: 7:00 pm
Doors: 8:30 pm
Opener: 9:00 pm
Support: 9:45 pm
Support: 10:30 pm
Headliner: 11:15 pm

Let us know if you’d like to run your show a bit earlier! We are open to running both midweek and weekend shows 30 minutes earlier if the bands feel it will help turnout. For three band bills, each band generally plays around 40 or 45 minutes which leaves 15 or 20 minutes for changeover time between bands (for four band bills, each band should stick to a 30 minute set). The headliner can play a little longer if desired, but should really keep it between 45 to 60 minutes or shorter.

PARKING/LOAD IN

We have a limited amount of space for parking in the alley behind the club. Please check in with the bartender or sound engineer before you load in. They will give you instructions on where to load in and where to park. Staff will also open the back door for you which will allow you to load in via the back alley.

SOUNDCHECK

Typically, the headliner for the night can load directly on stage and will subsequently soundcheck (there’s typically time for a 45 – 60 minute check). Once they are done, the opener loads and will quick check with the remaining time before doors.

The middle band will be instructed to stage their equipment in our green room and will line check before their set. Early load in and additional soundcheck may be available upon request. Please check with our booker at least 1 week in advance if an early soundcheck is needed and be advised that the extra time will result in an increase in the house cost for the night.

Please do not send packages to The Sunset (UPS, FED-EX, USPS Certifed etc).The bar is not open during normal delivery hours and we don’t have staff around before 5pm, so your merch might be dropped outside on the sidewalk outside our front door unsecured.

Update your website and all social networking sites. Consider making a poster and distributing it around Seattle (be sure to email us a copy). We also encourage you to send emails to your email list and post bulletins to promote your show. Let the local radio stations and newspapers know and don’t forget… TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS!

We also request that confirmed bands not play anywhere else in Seattle within 14 days before or after the scheduled date (3 weeks for touring bands). This will only increase the anticipation for your show at The Sunset and make ours that much better… we promise! Please let us know if you are hoping to book another Seattle show in that time frame as we can make exceptions in certain circumstances.
